Having endured a broken collarbone from a skateboarding fall at 21, and an arthroscopy and meniscus repair ten years later, I am no stranger to injuries and their ensuing imbalances. For my own injury rehab, I came to experience that the body needs to change up its regimen in order to continue seeing results and avoiding a plateau.
I particularly love the benefits of pilates for the body as there is the ability for such a diverse workout, which other modalities don’t offer. Pilates also targets the the small muscles of the body which are often overlooked in more typical fitness environments – and the results speak for themselves.
Prior to Studio High Street, I was working with physios and chiros running small group classes to help clients with ease of movement, increasing their strength, mobility and fitness.
Outside of the studio, I enjoy cooking up storms, anything coffee related and all things cheese!
