Personal Training using Pilates & Other traditional methods
Using strength and conditioning principles more commonly used by Personal Trainers, enjoy small group classes, semi-private sessions or 1:1 private sessions for your personal training needs!
Using weights, bands and many traditional gym style training exercises, we will also use the Reformer incorporating these props (not always, but a large proportion of the time).
Learn how lasting neuromuscular connections are formed when implementing traditional gym movements and props and weights with the reformer. Proven scientifically for elite athletes to attain optimum results due to the continually changing parameters (movement of the carriage used in various ways)….the brain creates much strong and lasting neuromuscular changes opposed to traditionally working in a 2D range – eg lifting weights or pushups or planks on the floor. Using the reformer, the brain has more reference points to learn each movement with perfect form to achieve these lasting benefits.
Small Group classes also provide this style of personal training. Enjoy a supportive environment from likeminded people – groups are small enough for all levels to participate at the same time.
Try our signature Power Hour aka Power Pilates! This open-level workout is medium to hard challenging. As your strength & fitness improve, you can choose to work your body at higher intensity.
Expect to use gravity (your own body mass) with more time under tension to fatigue the muscles for guaranteed results you can feel and see.
We’ll also use traditional use of tension of the springs to mix it up. Expect tempo shifts in this session with bursts of cardio using hand weights for elevated heart rate or dynamic moves with the reformer combined with slow, isolating more classic-style pilates moves.
This is an all-over body workout and if done consistently 2-3 times each week, you’ll achieve muscular strength, muscle & heart endurance, enhanced posture & body symmetry, cardio health, flexibility, balance & coordination.
A must-try on our timetable, and used by many clients as an effective & economical option to what many are accustomed to with traditional small group personal training at the gym or outdoors.
Ask yourself how long have you been undertaking personal training. Ask yourself what results can you feel, and then what can you see. If you want noticeable results you can feel and see…..if you want to transform your body to reach its optimum potential, then Email or text us to arrange your complimentary first session!
